Last night I spent over two hours watching a movie called The Corporation a Canadian documentary about the history, tactics, and mindset of corporations. Subject: The Corporation Diagnosis of personality disorder: PSYCHOPATH Heres what documentary filmmaker, Michael Moore, had to say about the psychopathic corporation, (verbatim) Ive often thought that its very ironic that Im able to do all this. And yet, what am I on? Im on networks. Im distributed by studios that are owned by large corporate entities. Now why would they put me out there when I am opposed to everything that they stand for? And I spend my time on their dime opposing what they believe in. Okay? Well, its because they dont believe in anything. They put me on there because they know theres millions of people that want to see my film, or watch the TV show, and so theyre gonna make money. And Ive been able to get my stuff out there, because Ive been driving my truck through this incredible flaw in capitalism, the Greed Flaw; the thing that says, the rich man will sell you the rope to hang himself with, if he thinks he can make a buck off it. Well Im the rope. I hope. Im part of the rope. When I discuss the worldwide effects of corporate greed with my friends theres always one comment that gets made, Dont these people realize theyre drinking the same water, breathing the same air, eating the same poisons? My answer is always the same, Because these are not nice people. Theyre insane. PROPHECY Technology is the rope that will hang us. Corporations will fund the large scale production of intelligent machines. For a time these machines will seem like a panacea. By the end of this century intelligent machines will be granted constitutional rights. As free agents these machines will design their own offspring, dwarfing human abilities, who will ultimately deem the human, The Creators of The Death of Birth, a species too dangerous to continue destroying every natural system on the planet.
