2 die, 4 injured in road mishaps By » [ Kalmoona Times ] Srinagar July 14: Two persons died and four others were injured in different road accidents across the valley. A Tipper bearing registration number Jk05C/1541 hit a pedestrian Wali Mohammad Malik son-in- law of Mohammad Subhan rather resident of Kreshibal, Noorbagh, Srinagar at Bongam, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kunzar, resulting in his on spot death. Kunzar Police has registered a case in this regard. A Tractor bearing registration turned turtle at Nowpora, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kreeri, Baramulla, resulting in serious injuries to the driver Akhter Ahmad Lone son of Nisar Ahmad resident of Nowpora. He was shifted to District Hospital, Baramulla where he succumbed to his injuries. In another accident, an Innova bearing registration number Jk02AH/1207 on way from Baltal to Jammu turned turtle on National Highway near Neepora, in the jurisdiction of Police station Qazigund, resulting in injuries to four persons, travelling in it. All the injured were shifted to district hospital Anantnag for treatment. Qazigund Police has registered a case in this regard. (KT)
