2 militants killed in Chenigam Kulgam encounter . Srinagar, 13 November: Two militants were killed in a encounter with police and security forces at Chenigam Kulgam. . As reported earlier on a specific information regarding the presence of armed militants in village Chenigam, Frisal, in the jurisdiction of police station Yaripora, Kulgam Police and 1 RR and 18 Bn CRPF launched a cordon and search operation, last evening. . The joint party was fired upon by militants triggering an encounter. Two militants have been killed in the encounter and arms and ammunition has been recovered from the encounter site. Identity of the slain militants is being ascertained.
