2 years ago this day I woke up to get ready to go skating and out of nowhere I decided to put on the hijab. The moment I put it on, I fell in love with it and for once in my life I felt beautiful. It was hard at first because I felt like the whole world was staring at whats on my head and in my family the hijab is not very common which was a huge surprise to others that I started and indeed did bring me down many times betting that I wouldnt be able to last long and will take it off but Alhamdullilah I passed through those obstacles with the help of Allah. I can proudly say that I love my hijab which represents my beautiful religion and that I will never take away Allah swts gift to me 💛 Hijab is much more then a headpiece wrapped around your head; it represents Islam, modesty, and teaches you to respect and appreciate yourself in a beautiful way. Alhamdulillah * millions.
