20 year ago today (9/19/94), nearly 50 young men and women attended what would be our first roll call of many to follow as members of the Detroit Police Department. On this day, we were all excited to start this new chapter of our lives and join the ranks of such an elite family. As time has passed, so have some of our classmates, and we all wish them peaceful rest! Then there were those who left to pursue other career endeavors. For those who have stayed around for the full 20, great job, congrats and happy anniversary. Regardless of the path taken, we all started off on this journey, so each of my classmate are still 95-A&B! I bid another congratulations to those who have retired or will retire this year. You have done a great job for the City of Detroit!
