20 years ago, I left for Abington Hospital. I arrived at 8:30 am, with bags in hand, and a little baby with hiccups in my belly. I signed in and got my gown on. About an hour later, they broke my water and I had my epidural. Then, I just laid there and waited. All the while listening to her little heartbeat on the monitor. At 4:30pm, they told me I was fully dialated and I was wheeled into the labor room. After only an hour of pushing, she was finally here. 5:36pm I heard her first cry. Happy 20th birthday to my not so little girl anymore! Love you just as much today as I did then! XO
