2000 Honda Civic VTI EK4 1.6 VTEC DOHC Facelift Hatchback MOT 3 Door **PRICE DROP** £1395 ono MOT: 12/10/2014 TAX: Expired HPI clear 155K Miles Here for sale is my facelift Honda Civic EK4 VTI 1.6 VTEC Manual Hatchback in super sonic blue. It is in reasonable to good condition considering it’s now nearly 14 years old. After a good wash and polish it shines up beautifully. The car has normal age related marks but nothing out of the ordinary for a 14 year old car. The worst being the one back wheel arch which has rusted. That being said the rest of the car is in pretty damn good condition considering its age. The car starts, runs and drives beautifully like any Honda should. I literally can’t think of anything to really fault the car for mechanically and it’s an absolute pleasure to drive. There are no strange knocks or bangs and no lights on the dash. It sailed through the last MOT with no advisories what so ever and I’m sure it’ll go through the next just as easy. All four tyres and brakes have lots of life left in them (front discs and pads were replaced recently). And just last weekend I gave the car a minor service (engine oil, oil filter and coolant replacement). Also worth mentioning is it’s such an effortless and easy car to drive. Everything works as it should. The brakes work great and the car is extremely good on fuel. These cars are extremely reliable and it will not let you down! Being the VTI model it’s pretty fast too, vtec comes in perfectly well and although the car is near enough standard it’s quick! No strange noises from the engine or gearbox and I’d say the car has been very well looked after. I inspected the cam belt and water pump last week, they’re in very good condition and have definitely been changed in the last year or so and won’t need doing again for a long time. The interior is very clean and tidy and the whole car is near enough completely original and un-messed with. The car has alloy wheels, power steering, driver and passenger air bags, electric and heated mirrors, ABS, sunroof and probably more I cant think of at the minute.
