2003 Chevy Malibu starts runs for 2 secs then dies. Computer is looking for a Theft Deterrent signal from Body Control module which is MIA.. Checked for power and ground at the Body Control Module and they were good but upon removing covers to reach the module large amounts of water ran out. Leak most likely coming from windshield. Result = shorted IC chip in the module. New module on its way. Need to add programming equipment to the arsenal, as this will have to go to the dealer once install is complete.
