2014 AAU NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP, Orlando Florida This is truly and experience for our young girls. They are 13-15 years old traveling 7 hours, staying in a gated community 3500 sq ft house with 6 bedrooms 6 bathroom pool, and game room, competing against some of the best talent in the country. Everyone here are Champions representing there State. Our Pool play include Ga, Wisconsin, and Texas. The Bracket play will be determined by the success of the pool play. We have a strategy, mapped out the plan and made our players fully aware of it and our expectations. These young ladies are very gifted and talented but so is everyone here representing there state. What sets our girls apart is their level of commitment, love of the game of basketball, love for their teammates, support from parents, friends, and Brittani Backers. I have full confidence that they will play their hardest and give maximum effort. It is our desire to not only win a national title and gain far more than a trophy. This experience happens only once for some kids and never for others. If they come away from this experience with a flame of passion for life, wanting something greater than their current environment, knowing work ethics drives your success, we have managed to change destiny. Inspiring a child to be more then ourselves is a challenge. A true challenge that we have chosen to except and fully vested. I pray for our kids before I pray for myself. I ask God to watch over them, help them avoid the evils that will come to distract them from their successes, keep them safe and injury free, give them the strength when they feel weak and alone, and the wisdom to walk away. I also ask God to guide us (coaches & parents) so that we will lead our children in the right direction. I will keep you posted on our experiences and the road to success has many potholes.
