2014 Deming Speedway season is over. What a year. Very proud of both boys as they continued to learn and get better each week. So many people to thank. Chance won the 600 Open Championship and Hunter could be the 600R rookie of the year. Racing Austin Sheridan and their family for the championship all year was fun and competitive. Mike and Spud Allen, your help started last year whenever we had questions and Spud has been a great mentor for Chance off and on the track. First class people. Then to top it off this weekend after I failed as a crew chief to get our car running, they loaned us their car last night that made the season point difference. Gaylon Stewart and Carla Stewart for all your hard work with the USAC HPD Midgets and for providing Chance the car for so much of this season. Also, Brock and Paul Lemley for Chances opportunity to run the 1200 class a couple of times this year. Fun stuff. Congrats Kaitlyn, Chad, and Karen Hammer on your 600R Championship, you definitely earned it! Now well see if we can get this car running and take it California next week.
