2014 FESTIVAL OF SILVER EVENTS CALL TO SILVERSMITHS. We just have a couple of spaces left for Winchester Desire Fair 15-17 November 2013 at Winchester Town Hall. Three plinths 60cm by 60cm each is £350 + vat. The events for 2014 are listed below and we’d like to know if they are of interest to you. We’ve got sponsorship available for the big event at the Goldsmiths’ Centre for anyone who has been in business less than 3 years. Please just email me a short note that you’d like to apply for sponsorship which is the entry fee of £195.00 + vat and 150 grams of silver. Events: March 2014 – GREAT WEEKS UKTI trade mission to Hong Kong and Macao. We would like to take 6 silversmiths and 6 jewellers. There is sponsorship available from UKTI which I will be applying for. 8-12 April 2014 – ‘Inspired’ a collaboration with the Furniture Makers to create an exclusive contemporary furniture and silversmithing sales exhibition at the Goldsmiths’ Centre Clerkenwell. It would be at this event that the sponsored silversmiths’ work is displayed. Cost – 30% commission. Limited space available. 1-5 May 2014 Desire Fair RHS Wisley. This was a big success last time.
