2014 Halloween movie #3 The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad. Part of Disneys Gold Classics collection, I think this cartoon is out of print now, which is a shame. I only kind of liked this movie, while some people on the internet really love it. Apparently, others have a lot of kindertrauma from watching the Headless Horseman sequence. I think that Mr. Toad deserves a whole movie... this short half-hour version left a lot out. There are several versions of Wind in the WIllows: a 1983 puppet version, a beautiful 1995 animated version voiced by Michael Palin and Rik Mayall, and a weird 2006 production with actors in costumes. You havent lived until youve seen Bob Hoskins as a grumpy human-badger hybrid. So, go see any of those instead of this movie if you really want to see The Wind In The Willows. However, Disney did a great version of The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow with this movie. Much better than Tim Burtons Johnny Depp film or this years TV version (grin).
