Homemade Hot Fudge Sauce (Save and SHARE to your timeline!) Ingredients 2/3 cup heavy cream 1/2 cup light corn syrup 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1/4 cup cocoa powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 6 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips (1/2 a bag) 2 tablespoons butter 1 teaspoon vanilla Directions: Bring the whipping cream, corn syrup, brown sugar, cocoa, salt, and half of the chocolate chips to a boil in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring, until the chocolate is melted. Reduce the heat and cook on a low boil for approximately 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Add butter, vanilla, and the rest of the chocolate and stir until smooth. Cool sauce to warm before serving. The serve over any flavor ice cream of your choice! If you want to get FANCY…try adding a few “banana flowers”, some nuts, whipped cream, and of course a cherry on top! The hot fudge sauce will keep for approximately a week in the refrigerator. Just allow it to completely cool before storing in an airtight container.
