2014 has been another great year for the team. Additions to our line up have brought extra skills that have, can and will be utilised at the every possibility. New training and equipment finds us in a better position than ever to do whatever we are tasked to do. Sadly, 2015 is a year of uncertainty, Liverpool MRCC is scheduled to close soon and we transfer to the care of Holyhead MRCC, we await the appointment of a new SCOO to look after and help train us, but something that will never change is the approach our team will make to the coming year. We will still hone our skills and train as hard and as often as we can...Just as we always have, We will face every call to service with the same enthusiasm and dedication...Just as we always have, We will serve our community to the very best of our ability....Just as we always have, We will work closely with our colleagues in the other emergency services including Cumbria Police, NWAS, Cumbria Fire & Rescue, RNLI, Maryport Rescue, Nith Rescue, RAF/RN SAR Units, and last but most importantly our flank teams of Annan CG, Burgh CG, Whitehaven CG, Walney CG, and Lakes CG, to ensure those who need our help get it as fast and as safely as possible...Just as we always have. We would like to wish our familys, our friends, fellow Coasties, our fellow Emergency Services, Her Majestys Armed Forces and our Facebook followers all the best for 2015.
