2014 was full of battles, large and small. We overcame them all with integrity and remained committed to our ideals of a better District, County, State and Nation. We could not have accomplished that without our family, friends and supporters. To close out the year, I took 3 of my 4 children to Jefferson City on the train (2 of them have never been on the train) and we moved some items into my new office. The kids and I explored The Capital for several hours. We had the opportunity to see things I had never laid eyes upon. To see the world through their eyes was amazing. As a typical parent of 4, I have learned how to multi-task and worked on my first piece of legislation while my kids were screaming in the room with an attorney. It was exactly where I wanted to be. Today we took the train back. Here are some pictures of our trip. Next week, I will be sworn in and I look forward to working with each and every one of you in 2015. Happy New Year!
