20140329 Couchsurfing as a Host Name: Genesis Mendoza Country: Philippines Age: 25 Job: SQL Database Developer Interest: Mountain Climbing, Animation (Fate/Zero, Code Geass) Last night I welcomed my first surfer, Genesis Mendoza, from Philippines to share his life as a traveler these years. Though we are all exhausted today, but I really appreciate his visiting and sharing experience as a traveler these years. His original goal this time in Taiwan is to climb Mt. Jade, however he couldnt make it because of his application in lack of snow climbing experience... There is no snow in Philippines he said and sad..... =_= Dont worry, next time we go together! I said..... ^^ And when I share my photos of Mt. Snow and Mt. South Lake, I could see the blaze in his eyes. He had began traveling and mountain climbing since he was a child, his parents trust his judgement and support him all the way. I think that makes perfect explanation why the Taiwanese lose competitiveness and limit themselves in a small world. Family education means not everything, but something.
