2015 bai Corporate Scholarship Application The Harlem YMCA Black Achievers in Industry (bai) Corporate Scholarship is awarded to African-American New York City High School seniors who demonstrate an ability to achieve. Applicants must meet the following criteria: • Be African-American • Reside within the five boroughs of New York City • Possess a minimum 3.0 GPA • Be a current high school senior This is a one-time Scholarship Award of $2,500. Recipients must re-apply annually to be considered for future awards. The Award will be sent to the recipient’s school of choice and applied toward tuition and/or room and board fees. The Award will be officially announced on March 12, 2015, at the 45th Annual National Salute to Black Achievers in Industry Awards Gala, at the New York Marriott Marquis Hotel. You will need to submit the following with this application: • Two Essays • One letter of Recommendation • Official Transcript • Resume • SAT Scores (Optional) • Photograph Submission deadline is January 31, 2015.
