20th November 2014 HE MADE US 2Corithians 2:12-17 Beloved Greetings, 2 Corinthians 2:14 (NIV) But thanks be to God, who made us his captives and leads us along in Christs triumphal procession. Now wherever we go He uses us to tell others about the Lord, and to spread the Good News like a sweet perfume. REFLECTION God sometimes does things in our lives, to provoke the unbelieving folks to jealousy. He displays to the world, the knowledge of His goodness and mercy, through those things He does in, and through our lives. The Bible says, when the Lord turns the captivity of Zion, they were like them that dream, their mouth was filled with laughter, and their tongue with singing: then it was said among THE HEATHEN, the Lord has done great things for them. The heathen came to the knowledge of what the Lord is capable of doing, when they heard the turning of Zions captivity. Wherever we have been this year, whether known or unknown to us, consciously, or unconsciously, in one way, or the other, the Lord has used our lives to display His love, and our story to show forth His glory. Do you know how many people acknowledged the Lord as their God, this year, just by merely hearing our testimony, or seeing Gods hand, and what He is doing in our lives? What a privilege, to be Gods showpiece, and mouthpiece to the rest of the world! Let us thank God for using us to tell others, about the Lord, and to spread the good news of His love, around like a sweet perfume, through those testimonies and miracles, He did in our lives this year. APPLICATION Thank God for using you PRAYER FOCUS Father, we thank You, for using us to tell others, about Your goodness, this year; thank You Father, in Jesus name.
