21. O mankind, worship your Lord, who created you and those before you, that you may become righteous - 22. [He] who made for you the earth a bed [spread out] and the sky a ceiling and sent down from the sky, rain and brought forth thereby fruits as provision for you. So do not attribute to Allah equals while you know [that there is nothing similar to Him]. Surat al-Baqarah ayat 21-22 These are from the tremendous verses which call to the Tawheed of Allah, sincerity to Him in the religion, fighting against polytheism and association of partners in worship with Allah. He conveyed these verses calling people to the Tawheed of Worship, then cites the proofs and evidences to establish that He Alone is worshipped in truth, having no partners in that. He is the One who created the sky and made it a well-guarded canopy for you, and He made the earth a place of abode, and placed therein for you rivers and sent down rain from the sky, thus producing various types of vegetation and fruits, Subhan Allah. Therefore, the One who created you-brought you into existence from non-existence, conferred these blessings upon you and has made everything in the sky and on earth subservient to you; He Alone is deserving of worship, having no associates in any acts of worship.
