#2242 "Its not a confession nor it is compliment but its a complaint. Here it goes as i observed....... I have seen that normally all metro station have escalators nearly at all the gates. Ya its good & quite helpful to commuters. But metro station of new delhi & chandni chonk.(which are debording stations for new delhi & old delhi railway stations) dont have escalators.(especially main gates) Here main gates stands for the nearest & widely used gate by the travellers of indian railways to enter or exit metro station. For example gate number 3 of chandni chonk metro station. It dont have any escalator inspite of a long stretch of staircase. M nt aware of the gate number but same is the case in new delhi metro station. I feel installing a escalator at these points will higly helpful to travellers as they use to have hug luggage bags wid them. It will substantially help old people to come & fro in metro stations.
