24-HOUR MAJOR CRIME SUMMARY REPORT January 23, 2015 – 12:00 a.m. to January 23, 2015 – 11:59 p.m. NOTE: The following summaries are allegations of incidents that have been reported and are under investigation. Precinct: 8th Precinct Location: 18200 block of Archdale Date/Time: 01/23/15 6:30 a.m. CIRCUMSTANCES: The 29 year old male victim was parking his vehicle, when an unknown vehicle pulled into the driveway striking the victim’s vehicle. An armed suspect exited the vehicle and shot the victim twice. The suspect fled the location in an unknown direction. Precinct: 10th Precinct Location: Livernois / Davison Date/Time: 01/23/15 5:00 p.m. CIRCUMSTANCES: The 56 year old male victim was stopped at a traffic signal, when 2 suspects approached his vehicle and attempted to pull him out of it. The suspects were unsuccessful and entered the vehicle and went through the victim’s pockets, then pushed the victim out onto the road. Taken was a tan 2003 Lexus 300, 4-door, Michigan license plate #ADA821. The victim was not injured. WANTED: Suspect #1 – White male, 20’s, 6’1”, 190 lbs., dark clothing Suspect #2 – Black male, 30’s, 6’1”, 190 lbs. Precinct: 6th Precinct Location: Dover / Westwood Date/Time: 01/23/15 5:20 p.m. CIRCUMSTANCES: The 2 male, juvenile victims were robbed by 2 armed suspects while walking in the noted area. Taken were the victims’ cell phones and shoes. The victims were not injured WANTED: Suspect #1 – Black male, 5’8”, 140 lbs., light complexion, wearing a Detroit Red Wings jacket, wheat colored Timberland boots – ARMED Suspect #2 – Black male, 5’8”, 150 lbs., dark complexion, wearing a gray and black vest, black pants and black shoes Anyone with information on this crime is encouraged to call Criminal Investigations at telephone number: 313-596-5640. Precinct: 6th Precinct Location: 18200 block of Schoolcraft Date/Time: 01/23/15 7:40 p.m. CIRCUMSTANCES: The 19 year old male victim was working at the location when 2 armed suspects entered the store and demanded money. The victim opened the register, the suspects grabbed the money, fired a shot into the floor and then fled the location. the suspects escaped in a dark colored conversion van. The victim was not injured. WANTED: Suspect #1 – Black male, early 20’s, 6’1”, 190 lbs., dark complexion, wearing a black mask over the lower part of his face, black and gray tee-shirt, and blue jeans – ARMED Suspect #2 – Black male, early 20’s, 5’9”, 180 lbs., medium complexion, wearing a hooded Michigan sweatshirt and tan pants Anyone with information on this crime is encouraged to call Criminal Investigations at telephone number: 313-596-5640.
