24 Years ago, we were forced to make a choice. Choice to remain in our homes and see our sons and fathers butchered mercilessly on our very doorsteps, and see our daughters and mothers being ravaged by Beasts. Or save our lives and honor while we still could, and leave behind the lands of our forefathers, the land which our ancestors had been nurturing with their sweat and blood since time immemorial. 24 years is a long time to live as refugees in our own country, and we miss our land like we miss our Fathers, Mothers, Sons, Daughters, Brothers and Sisters, who were taken away from us. But we have stopped complaining. No we dont complain any more. And no matter how much it hurts, we are indeed Thankful to our Nation for sparing us some land so that we can put up our tents and call them our homes. We are thankful that in this whole wide world, there is atleast this Nation that could spare some land for us. For, History has a nasty habit of repeating itself, in a shriller and nastier tone - Our Countrymen may not be so fortunate in the future !!!!
