25 June 2014 Departed Skye CCC site at 10:20 traveling to Dunvegan Castle. Arrived at 10:45. We had lunch & coffee at the coffee bar, then departed at 13:25. Need Diesel currently running on fumes, just about made it. I keep topping up when possible but they don’t have many stations up here. Like gold dust. Parked Maisie-The-Motor-Home at Kyleakin while we went in the Aygo to Klyerhea look out huts for Sea Otters. Seven miles of single track then a mile walk to the huts. We saw lots of seals, no Otters, departed at 17:20. Drove to Eileen Donan Castle to view potential of overnight parking (not allowed). Back to Maisie-The-Motor-Home Polly cooked the fresh Salmon and Scallops bought from the local fisherman at the Skye CCC site, best seafood we have had in a long time. We will go out for dinner the next time we discover a restaurant, rather rare like the fuel stations. Moved Maisie-The-Motor-Home to a better location too much of a slope, now parked next to Loch Alsh viewpoint, very nice view. Took several photographs. 21:45 people outside Maisie-The-Motor-Home getting excited they spotted an Sea Otter so I called Polly to come and view. Took photograph but its a bit of a spot really, the guy was really good at spotting the two sitings. Busy day and I think Polly enjoyed her Birthday.
