A year and a half ago I walked into a rehab hospital looking for a safe place for Granny. It just happened to be the same place that my uncle Todd Winter worked as the chef and I didnt know until I ran into him. instantly I knew this was the place and I wanted her to be. He checked on her everyday for me, made special meals for her, and would sit with her and talk when she needed someone. He even smuggled in a few desserts for her. Tonight I found out that he was received a very bad diagnosis a few weeks and made the decision to leave this world on his terms today. My heart is heavy tonight and I am asking for prayers for the family.
