25 years ago.... The greatest male Influence In my life left this world unexpectedly. Was a very hard night for our family. We lost a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, best friend, coworker. Been hard going on with life. But he raised us to be able to take care of ourselves & each others. We were raised to work hard for what we wanted but to think of others also. We were to help them first then get home and finish our chores.Im grateful for all he has taught us. Once In a great while...his drum Is brought out. I know he smiling down on us when Its being used. As there are only two left from the original Wide Spot Singers. And Im glad they made It to sing at my last childs senior recognition night two years ago. More honored that the children/grandkids/nephews of the group members step forward when they are notified that this drum Is being brought out. You are gone...but not forgotten. Ed Spino Sr My father
