25 years ago, we walked the same halls Back in the glory days, behind the MHS walls Football, basketball, cheerleading, band Going to prom, hand in hand Field trips, bon fires, homecoming floats Getting caught passing embarrassing notes Going to parties, sneaking out on dates Being late for curfew, and really getting raked Learning to drive in drivers ed class Sweating out finals, praying to pass The last time we all were together it was graduating night Excited to be heading towards a future so bright Some people made it, others did not Sometimes God likes to twist the plot So as you share these memories with the classmates I hold so dear Please think of me, but dont shed a tear I will be smiling with you, only from above Sharing the same memories, each one with love I dont ask that you think of me each and every minute Only once in a while, in your prayer, put me in it Although my time on earth has passed I still belong to the 89 class.......
