26 years ago today, I became a full time minister for the super awesome Community of Christ starting this adventure in Central Illinois and continuing this adventure today in Chattanooga. This is just so cool.Every day for 26 years, I have been getting paid to do the greatest thing ever-- to go every day and try my best to SHOW and TELL people that our awesome God is madly, madly, madly in love with them. Wow...you must know God is full of grace and compassion when a creep like me get to wake up every day for 26 years and go on the adventure of watching God do neat stuff in the lives of people. I really dont know what to say BUT I just couldnt let the 26th anniversary of one of the very best moments in my life to pass by without me shouting a YO BUDDY praise. Now I have not spent the past 26 years learning to share God with intellectual ellogence or a class room taught theology BUT still several times daily for 26 years I have witness God show how madly in love this holy Deity is with everyone. Even today on the very first day of the new year I get to go visit with people and attend CHEERS GROUPS sharing in God unconditionally loving and blessing people..How can I not burn with passion for Christ Jesus today? Super YO BUDDY!
