Funny things New Years Eve. Pressure to celebrate is particularly overwhelming, almost apocalyptic even. And in the end its an anti-climax (self-righteous as it may indeed sound, I personally prefer to start my year completely sober and with a morning run). And (as much as I hate looking back) were somewhat compelled to reflect back on the year gone by and (hopefully) lessons learnt. And to those who are looking for a fresh start at this time of year (btw you neednt wait until the new year to action certain changes or kick certain habits), may you find the strength, courage and conviction to do so as we move forward into 2015. Although not one for resolutions, Id like to think that we are all working towards being better people. Respect, humility, compassion and acceptance immediately come to mind when thinking how to better ourselves and this world. Re-calibrate your moral compasses, be a little kinder to one another and most importantly love and allow yourself to be loved. Happy New Year yaaaall! ❤️
