A month ago I saw a dermatologist for a small spot on the tip of my nose, sun damage. He told me that I was covered with pre-cancerous cells and gave me a chemotherapy cream to use. Only the affected skin would react and now this is what I look like. I am told that when the treatment is finished (which hurts like billy-oh) the scarring will fade but I have cut my chances of skin cancer considerably. Why am I posting this - because it can be prevented. USE SUNBLOCK at all times as you would a moisturiser, factor 30 at the least, especially on your children as this damage was caused when I was young (no sunblock back in the dark ages!). If you have a spot your concerned about - see the doctor. I have 2 days of treatment left on my face and chest (28 days a time) and then I have to deal with my arms, back and legs.
