286 people liked this status, so I decided to post it again in case someone missed it :-). Warning: Long status. Lol After I finished college, I moved to California. Pack up a U-haul, attached my car to the back and drove every mile. Shortly after I went to Greece to play basketball. After which I returned to school for a MA. Ended up with a baby to match my diploma :-). Before Gabrielle was five, I had lived in Atlanta and worked for the Hawks, Houston while I working for E Lynn, and Kentucky while I was a sales rep for Wiley publishing. Since she started school, I have lived between Fayetteville and Little Rock, with a summer stop in Africa and Christmas trip to Scotland and Amsterdam. My life has had so many faces. Along the way I have learned so many lesson and gained great insight into many different worlds. My best advice: 1. Never be afraid to go and when you get there, LEARN all you can. Im good at what I do today because of all the things I learned along the way. 2. Love all people. Rich, poor, young and old and certainly all races. Loving people for whom they are and not who you expect them to be, will save you a lot of heart ache 3. Believe in something bigger than yourself. You will need divine intervention one day. If you are as human as I am, you will screw up :-). 4. READ. Something. Even if its just the newspaper. No one will tell you what you need to know, you only get this knowledge by putting in work. And last but not least 5. Master the art of moving on. Know when things have run their course. Be they relationships, friendships or jobs, you are the only person who is in control of your happiness or lack there of. #GAMETIME #Book3coming
