29TH NOVEMBER,2013. MORNING DEVOTION. DIVINE SURPRISES IN YOUR HEALTH! TODAYS SCRIPTURE.He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. (Psalm 107:20 KJV) Our bodies were formed by God in such a way that nothing could harm it. We are made to live long and free of sickness, disease or anything that hurts. However, Adams fall in the garden of Eden brought death to everything in the world. Not just cessation of life, but functionality of all things including the human body. Death also means failure or damage. Adams fall introduced failure and damage to the world. Hence one who was created in Gods image, could now fall sick. The heart,blood vessels,liver,kidney etc. could now fail. When Jesus came He defeated the devil and his cohorts and seized the keys of hell and death. The Bible declares,....... For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. (1 John 3:8 KJV) After Jesus destroyed the hold of sin and death on the cross, He also took care of sicknesses and diseases. Meaning sin and all its negative effects such as sickness, failure,poverty and death ought not to have power over you. You must see your victory over sicknesses from glory to glory. The Lord Jesus has given us power over the enemy. The reason some Christians are still living in bondage to the devil is lack of knowledge. The Bible says, My people are ruined because they dont know whats right or true. Because youve turned your back on knowledge, ... (Hosea 4:6 MSG). Refuse to be in bondage to sickness,diseas e or the devil. You can change that negative situation by stirring up the power of the Holy Ghost in you. The more of the power of the Holy Ghost you stir up by speaking in other tongues, the less such affliction will come near you. Celebrate your authority over every sickness and disease because your freedom has been perfected in Christ Jesus. What the Lord expects you to keep doing is, Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;(Psalm 103:2, 3 KJV). He is your healer, keep celebrating Him for divine surprises in your health. Todays Confession. My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, therefore I live above sickness, diseases, infirmity and death in Jesus name.
