29th April 2014, morning. Time could not have been beyond 7, 7.15 max The road is flat and without bumps/potholes There was no other vehicle on the road THAT IS WHEN MY CAR STARTED MISBEHAVING (the explanation by police and a few other villagers who had gathered around my car was that that I got caught in the aftershock of some blast) I REMEMBER VIRTUALLY NOTHING ABOUT THE ACCIDENT AND ONLY TOWARDS THE END OF JUNE KAKOLI, MY WIFE, TOLD ME THAT HAD TO BE HOSPITALIZED FOR ALMOST A MONTH. FOR ABOUT TEN DAYS I WAS IN THE ICU. FOR ALMOST TWO MONTHS I WAS NOT VERY COHERENT EITHER. THE GOOD THING WAS THAT THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO THE BRAIN ALTHOUGH THE ONLY INJURY I HAD SUFFERED WAS A HEAD INJURY AND A HAIRLINE FRACTURE OF THE SKULL. Coming back to the conscious (and coherent?) world, I was literally stupefied when I looked at my face page. The sheer number of posts on my timeline by friends (and a whole mountain of messages) and the mind boggling number of comments on those must have sustained me through my trauma. However I do not find myself equal to answering the number of posts/comments/messages. So this post is just to A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND TO SAY THAT THE ACCIDENT IS NOW SOMETHING THAT HAPPENED IN THE PAST AND IT IS NOW TIME TO MOVE ON. THANK YOU SO MUCH, MY FRIENDS.
