3 Little Things: 1) Its slightly annoying how becoming an activist in racial/social justice is seemingly turning into a bandwagon yet the attention is necessary 2) The oppression of people, unlike this bandwagon mentality, wont just fade away into the social media trend void. Im anxious to see how the attention on matters evolves. Personally, Id recommend finding small practical ways to be involved and devote your time in addition to yelling down the streets. Sustainable change is a marathon and its easier and more reasonable to help in a way that wont wear you out too much. Being an artist, my camera is an extension of myself and therefore I chose it as a way to get involved. 3) This Black History Month will probably be very turnt nationwide.
