3 times, in the Bible, the word Christian is mentioned; while the word disciple was mentioned approximately 296 times. Question to all of us, are you just Christian by name or are you the real deal? Being a disciple is truly giving your life and devotion to God and not playing church, saying you believe in Jesus but you are doing different things behind the scenes. He is not interested on what you are on the outside but what your heart is on the inside. When the Prophet Samuel went and looked for a king, God told him that all the first 6 children of Jesse are not the one, despite them being well-build, handsome and capable on doing alot of stuff. But the LORD said to Samuel, Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart. -- 1 Samuel 16:7 Heres the point: 1. Is your heart right with God? 2. Are you putting your mask on and just acting? 3. Are you just for say, or are you serious with God? Have a time to think about it, pray about it, let God speak to you today. Let God touch you and your heart today to have more of Him in your life and let Him lead you to the things that you are supposed and called to do!
