30 Days of Prayer - Day 18 Today, pray for the digital world that has become a second home for our teenagers. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and whatever new platforms develop daily, function almost as extensions of our teenagers personhood. Online presence and online conversation are just as real to them as flesh-and-blood. Pray that teenagers would use these form of communication, these virtual ways of being in the world, wisely. Pray that they might find avenues into deeper relationships with friends and venues to discover and develop their gifts and interests through the digital world. Ask God to help you to find ways to grow in your understanding of this aspect of our teenagers lives, whatever your preconceived notions of the digital world. Pray that parents, teachers, youth leaders, and others would find faithful and helpful ways to guide teenagers as they navigate the digital world.
