30th August is observed by the United Nations as the International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances. Hundreds of opposition political leaders and activists in Bangladesh have gone missing since 2009 and Bangladeshi law enforcement agencies like Rapid Action Battalion (#RAB, amply funded and armed by the US and the UK) and different branches of Police are directly responsible for these horrific crimes. This documentary has done a great job in documenting the crime and identifying some of the victims and circumstances of their disappearance. We cannot afford to forget about these people and demand answers from the government/authorities about their location and well-being. We want the suffering of the victims and their relatives to end.
