310th Toyoungsi Srijunga birth anniversary celebration A meeting was held at Manghim in Martam in West Sikkim on Sunday to discuss preparations for the 310th birth anniversary of Toyoungsi Srijunga. Minister Road & Bridges Shri R.B. Subba chaired the meeting. Maneybong Dentam MLA Ms. Chandra Maya Subba, Yangthang MLA Shri P.L. Subba, Zilla Panchayat K.B. Bhandari, senior officials of various government departments and the members of the Srijunga Manghim Committees of all four districts also attended the meeting. The meeting has decided to celebrate the 310th Birth anniversary of Tououngsi Srijunga on December 17. Shri R.B. Subba has also informed that Chief Minister Shri Pawan Chamling has been requested to grace the occasion. He urged the celebration committee and the public to give their best in making the event a grant success. He also informed that the celebration committee will be felicitated various personalities during the occasion. Various committees for transportation, cultural events, stage management, etc. have been formed. Some 20,000 people from across the state are expected to gather here for the birth anniversary celebration.
