32 degrees and a bluebird sky. I headed out the door for my daily - TopicsExpress

32 degrees and a bluebird sky. I headed out the door for my daily 5 (now) mile regimen of blissful exercise. Heading due east the sun (this time of year) hangs just above the mountains to the south. The angled, shadow filled, light harbored more of a natural artistic setting than any warmth. At my 2.5 mile turn around point (new for me) was a picture (yep, Ill take one) that took my breath away. The Skagit river was at my feet, flowing a clear jade green. As my eyes slowly rose a series of gravel bars redirected the flow with 3 bald eagles feeding at the waters edge. Still continuing my gaze upward the river took on the blue reflection of the sky, embellished with sparkled remnants of sunlight on the surface. Then the grand finale of todays view. To complete the scene sat Mt Baker, snow crowned and dominant, anchoring the vision. I KNOW how lucky I am to see this.......to view this.....to live this. What a day for a walk!
