#3480 This happened to me about 2 years ago... It was convocation day and me and my friend were assigned to stand by in case of any emergency... We were placed in a room where a few guards came in and out occasionally to rest... So, I was playing with my laptop when one of the guard started talking to me... Suddenly, he told me of a song he liked... He asked me to search on it on youtube so I did... It was normal at 1st and then things started to feel awkward when the singer started to shake her body and stuff... It was very uncomfortable for me as he was sitting behind me and keep asking if i like it... I told him no and turn off the tab... I tried ignoring him but he keep stressing how much he enjoyed the video whenever hes alone in his home... I became scared and refuse to open the video the 2nd time he requested me to do so... I left the room and look for my bf who was nearby, I told him what happen and he was furious... I showed him the guard face... (I dont know if u guys will find it weird, but i kinda find it hard to recognise people, I even forgotten i met my bf before until he told me) I knew i wouldnt be able to reconise him and thats why i told my bf to recognise him for me... So, when Monday came, my bf and I went to report the incident to one of the SAD staff... He promised me that they will take this seriously and he took me to identify the video and ask me some questions... He then asked my bf if he recognises the guard through some photos (he called me to wait beside instead of calling me to identify the guard which i think because hes worried that ill be afraid)... My bf pointed him out... Later, (Ive forgotten how long it passed), the staff called me in and asked me to personally identify the guard from photos... I told him that I dont remember people faces unless i see them over and over again... He then told me that if there were to be a trial, I would need to be there to point out the guard... He also told me that the guard denied asking me to load the video (yeah, like I have nothing better than to randomly accusing him of something like that)... He told me that if I couldnt recognise him I need at least my partner who was also assigned to duty with me that day as a witness... I asked my friend and he said he was sorry he forgotten... So, when the staff asked me is it okay if I just leave it cause there really isnt much prove... I was kinda frustated that time because knowing I couldnt remember faces i had intentionally asked my bf to remember his face but then it was not prove... Dont get me wrong, I think the staff was nice and he did everything he could to help me, he was very sorry when he said that I need more prove... But somehow I think someone in the management there was trying to hide something or cover for the guard??? So, in the end I just leave the thing and pretended nothing happened... I didnt dare to tell this to my parents as I know they would be very pissed off by the school... Although the guard escape the trial, I was glad that I was brave enough at that time to stand up and walk away from him... So, girls, you are allowed to be afraid but please do something whenever u feel uncomfortable... KL Branch
