37,520 people died as a result of transportation related injuries - TopicsExpress

37,520 people died as a result of transportation related injuries in 2011. 1,500 of these deaths were children under the age of 14. That means that every day 4 children die from transportation related injuries. In the US, more people have died from transportation related injuries than all the wars the United States has ever fought. People who come in contact with roads are more likely to die on them than those who don’t. Those who own cars and bikes are more likely to die in a car/bike accident. If roads were illegal no one would be able to die on them but organizations like the National Road Association (NRA) have explicitly said they want people to die on roads and are stopping this from happening. Think of the children. Ban roads (and road related products). Data source: webappa.cdc.gov/sasweb/ncipc/mortrate10_us.html
