38 years ago to the date, a Vibrant, Energetic, and Dynamic Leader declared War on 3 evil Forces eating away at the people he ruled, and forcing them slowly into extinction..! Some thought he was a lunatic, some called him all kinds of names, while others went on a campaign to tarnish his legacy and reputation. Today 2014, those very same evil forces are causing devastation in the very same land causing the people to run aimlessly to no where. They say, NEVER leave an enemy behind, for he will one day gain strength, rise up against you, and come back at your throat...!! Some of us are old enough to remember..when The war against Ignorance, Disease, and Poverty was declared by the Late President William R. Tolbert Jr.-President of the Republic of Liberia. Fast forward 38 long years later we hear this in the same land, and about the same 3 enemies of the people: ....... Despite these and continuing efforts the threats continue to grow, ignorance, poverty as well as entrenched religious and cultural practices continue to exacerbate the spread of the disease especially in the counties”......................!
