4 April 2014: IS JESUS A WIMP? https://youtube/watch?v=tW7LbpAYPAM The predominant view of our Lord and Saviour is that Jesus was some wimp. He was meek, he was humble and kind. But he was Not WEAK or a WIMP. Lets not confuse Meekness with Weakness Lets define some terms here MEEK 1. quiet, gentle, and easily imposed on; submissive. WEAK 1. lacking the power to perform physically demanding tasks; lacking physical strength and energy. frail, feeble, delicate, fragile; More infirm, sick, sickly, debilitated, incapacitated, ailing, indisposed, decrepit; tired, fatigued, exhausted, anemic; 2. liable to break or give way under pressure; easily damaged. Jesus Chose to be submissive. But he was more than capable. True meekness is knowing you have power but not needing to show it to prove a point. Its that inner strength. On another note he was bold and a mans man! When the people bought and sold in the temple he made a whip, and whipped some tail and threw over tables like a wild man. Righteous anger! JOHN 2:15 If he was a little wimp do you really think anyone would have even taken him seriously? Can you imagine Steve Urkel or Screech from saved by the bell scaring people off? hhmmm think about it. When the religious leaders where around talking smack....He put them in their place to the point that they barely wanted to speak around him anymore so sought to kill him instead.
