4 GREAT CONTRACTI OPPORTUNITIES! Army Community Service Contract Solicitation ACS has four personal contract solicitations available. The directions on how to apply are below. ACS is currently soliciting for the following personal contracts: 1.Cultural Adaptation Instructor (closing 15 July) 2.Family Advocacy Program Educator (Closing 12 July) 3.ACS Program Specialist (Closing 18 July) 4.Family Advocacy Program Admin. Assistant (Closing 19 July) The specific job duties are listed in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) of each individual contract. Make sure to read it before applying. Get a DUNS number using a U.S. state-side address •To apply for a DUNS# go to this website: fedgov.dnb/webform •It is very important that you use a state-side address for the DUNS#. It can be your parent’s address if necessary. Do not use a physical German address. •After reaching the site, follow the instructions. Do this immediately so you receive your DUNS# prior to sending your application. 2. Register for SAM •You need to register in SAM. •To do so, go to this website: https://sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ •Click “Create an Account” and follow the instructions. If you get confused, at the bottom of the home page click the Service Desk Link: FSD.gov - It offers valuable information, and will answer all of your questions. 3. Fill out the contract you are interested in •Make sure you fill out the appropriate blocks on pages 1-8. For example, on page 1 you need to fill out block 17a, 30a, 30b, and 30c. You may use your APO address for this section. •Check yes or no on page 4, and provide your DEROS date. •Fill out the data on page 5. •And include your bid amount on page 8. 4. Send pages 1 – 8 to Mr. Hassan El-Annan. •Send pages 1 through 8 to Mr. Hassan El-Annan. His information can be found on page 7 of the contract. •Be sure to make a copy of your ID card when sending your packet. •You can call him for any specific questions concerning the solicitation.
