She says when selecting a grey be aware that the colour has different undertones - some have a blue cool undertone and are best used in a modern home. Bond says she prefers a grey that has a warm purple undertone. “This does not mean that you will end up with a purple room, rather your room will appear warm instead of icy.” A grey with blue undertones works well in a contemporary scheme, she says.
