40 DAYS OF PRAYER FOR IGBOLAND DAY 3 Chukwu Nna, Onye kere elu Igwe na Ala, You are the one that divided the red sea and made your people to pass on dry ground. Today, we give you thanks for uniting the Igbo. We praise you because you have made us one and blessed us with freedom, wisdom and courage. You O lord, have by your power made every Igbo a testimony of your goodness and your sovereignty. Today, we pray for the Governors and House of Assemblies in Igboland. We ask that you will give them courage to do what is right and just for our people. Help them to use public money to do public good. In this time of threat from Herdsmen and Boko Haram, give them the strength of character that you gave to David with which he faced Goliath and defeated him, thereby giving ancient Israel victory over the Philistines. Give to them the wisdom of Solomon, to think out and pursue creative policies to secure our land from invaders and to protect the investments of our people outside Igboland. Please Lord, help them to use their security votes to empower border communities in Igboland for 24/7 vigilance against agents of Boko Haram or Fulani Herdsmen. Thank you for making us Igbo and for your special love for us. Thank you for giving us the power to defend our land at all times. Thank you for our unity. All in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
