45 BALLIOL - EXTERIOR STAIRWELL ENCLOSURES On Wednesday, June 19, 2013, we expect work to begin to construct enclosures at the four exterior stairwells that access the underground garage. The enclosures are being installed to improve safety and security of the exterior stairwells. They will be constructed using a steel frame with glass and wood paneling. There will be a door at the top of each stairwell and a proximity reader will be installed allowing residents to use their wireless transmitters and fobs to access the enclosure. Working hours are between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. weekdays. We expect all four enclosures to be completed by the end of July, 2013. Due to the nature of this work residents and visitors can expect general construction type noises including the use of power tools and machinery may be present at times to lift the steel structures in place. Access to and from the garage will be restricted at times while this work is in progress although emergency exiting will maintained at all times. Please use caution in and around the areas while work is in progress. We regret any inconvenience this necessary work may cause and we will make every effort to minimize the impact.
