5 years ago was not a very good day for Sandy and me. Our house was destroyed, we started a 10 day struggle with no power, water, roof and food. Every room but 2 in the house was 5 ft deep in wet sheetrock and insulaion. We felt lucky to have survived the tornado from Hurrican Ike and for the wonderfull neighbors and friends that came to help out. Even now we do not talk about it. The emotions of that night are buried still. Someday we will tell our story, just not now.
