The reporter forgot the tourist. Johnny Depp has done such a variety of cinema that it hardly matters if his movies are commercial behemoths. He creates characters and none of his so called flops are bad movies by any stretch. Yes , i enjoyed The Tourist, The Rum Diary, The Lone Ranger 2013 and Dark Shadows I did not enjoy his last box office success - Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides which was just meant to mint money. Wally might have gone wrong but dont pin this on Johhny Depp, he aint the scapegoat, you are looking for.
