517 days ago, I gathered five of my closest, and film-iest friends together. That night, while eating Chinese food out of cardboard boxes(as is the way), Allan Cowling, Jonny Cowling, Jake McDowell, Jay Staley, Johnnie Alward and I made a plan: we were going to make a movie. This last week has been insane. We did last minute re-shoots. Even last-er-minute re-edits. We had to do even-last-ier-minute music selections. And these last couple days we did the absolute-last-iest-minute audio corrections. Its been a wild ride, and its been worth it. Today, I sealed the envelope, and submitted our film to be considered for the 2015 Sundance Film Festival. Making this movie has been an educational, stressful, and cathartic experience for me. More people have helped us complete this crazy idea than I could ever properly repay. So instead, Ill simply say: thank you for entertaining this crazy idea. Sink or float, we did it; and I for one feel that I have strengthened old friendships, and built some amazing new ones throughout this production. So, congratulations to everyone involved, and a sincere thanks to everyone who helped! I cant tag everyone in this, so I got as many different folks as I could! Please, add each other!
