53 days before the 28 October 2013 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections :) --- October 11, 2013 - October 17, 2013 Filing of COC for the 2013 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections as per Resolution No. 9761 --- October 28, 2013 2013 Barangay and SK Elections pursuant to Sec. 1 of Republic Act No. 9164 SK Voters (Katipunan ng Kabataan) Filipino citizens actually residing in the barangay for at least six (6) months At least fifteen (15) years old but less than eighteen (18) years old on Election Day duly registered in the list of the sangguniang kabataan or in the official barangay list in the custody of the barangay secretary SK Candidates Filipino citizens At least fifteen (15) years old but less than eighteen (18) years old on Election Day Able to read and write Filipino, English or the local dialect Qualified members of the Katipunan ng Kabataan of the Barangay where they intend to run for office and residents thereof for at least one (1) year immediately preceding the election Must not have been convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude Voters Registration requirements Go to the election officer of the area where you are residing and bring any one of the following: birth certificate, baptismal certificate, school records or any other proof of identity. Community tax certificate and barangay certification are not acceptable. Earlier, Comelec said that they will do manual counting in the upcoming Barangay and SK Elections.
